The Catholic Women for Christ Conference
St. Louis joyfully welcomes you!
WELCOME TO THE THIRD ANNUAL
CATHOLIC WOMEN FOR CHRIST CONFERENCE
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
MARCH 31, 2012
We warmly invite you to the third annual Catholic Women for Christ Conference which will take place at the America’s Center in downtown St. Louis on March 31st of 2012.
Doors open at 7:00 a.m. Eucharistic Adoration chapel opens and early check-in encouraged. Early vendor shopping also available.
Our conference begins with morning praise and worship in music and song at 7:30 a.m. and concludes with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 4:00 p.m. with the Most Reverend Robert J. Carlson, Archbishop of St. Louis. Come and personally be refreshed in your Catholic faith, in complete fidelity to the authentic teachings of the Magisterium and the Holy Catholic Church led by the Holy Father, Benedict XVI, with priority given to personal prayer and to Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
Come and together, let us remember our interior beauty and priceless value of heart and soul, reflecting the radiant image and likeness of God—our true reflection of the FATHER.
Come and join us, and many more women united in prayer, to rebuild our faith, remember our hope in Christ, and ignite our love for God and all others. Together, let us renew our fundamental vocation to know, love and serve the Lord!
Please note:
Babies are welcome! Please bring your own supplies as there are no special provisions/accommodations available on site.
Love Your Neighbor
The Catholic Women For Christ, partnering with the St. Vincent de Paul Society requests donations to help support all Archdiocesan food pantries. During the months of March and April donations will be matched through the "Feinstein Challenge" making this a uniquely important opportunity.
"From March 1st to April 30th, any foods, funds, or pledges donated in regards to the Feinstein Challenge will be matched - up to $1 million nationally! Become a partner in the most successful ongoing effort to fight hunger!
Past Challenges have raised over $1.25 billion for over 2,000 hunger fighting agencies. A donation to this campaign makes you a partner in the most successful, ongoing effort ever to fight hunger."
Steve Rupp, Director of Conference Support at Society of St. Vincent de Paul, will briefly address the conference to thank the attendees for taking part!
The title for this endeavor is, "Love Your Neighbor". We hope all women will consider purchasing gift cards at their local grocery store and drop them into the "Donation Stations" which will be provided at the conference.
The donations will benefit many, including Good Friday 2011 tornado victims of the St. Louis Archdiocese in North St. Louis, Bridgeton and others, who still have great need!
We will also continue the service activities regarding Haiti, collecting: Ibuprofen 200 mg in bottles, acetaminophen 325 mg in bottles, antacids (like Tums), toothpaste, toothbrushes, crayons, markers, coloring books, TRAVEL SIZE soap, shampoo, lotion, petroleum jelly (like Vaseline).
